About the Federation of South London Photographic Societies

The South London Federation (SLF) was created as a body to encourage interaction between photographic clubs and societies in South London and neighbouring areas. The SLF organises a comprehensive programme of competitions including annual inter-club print and projected digital image competitions together with annual competitions for individual members of clubs subscribing to the SLF. Membership of the SLF is open to any qualifying photographic clubs or societies so if your club or group might be interested in joining the SLF please contact secretary@fslps.org.uk to discuss your interests. Privacy Policy

The Federation of South London Photographic Societies (the SLF) is established with the objects set out in its Constitution and is a data controller within the UK. The personal information referred to in this Policy may include name, distinctions, contact details, affiliations, service records, records of entries to events, and such other information as may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of the SLF. Any person wishing to verify the information held by the SLF may apply to the Secretary. The SLF collects and holds personal information about: 1. Its executive committee and others who assist the executive committee. 2. Such persons in its Member Clubs as may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of the SLF. This may include (but not be restricted to) details of the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Programme Secretary, SLF Delegate and SLF Competition Contacts. 3. Judges offering their services to SLF Member Clubs. The SLF will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to ensure the confidentiality of data. The SLF will not share the data it holds outside of Member Clubs, except when required to do so by law or with our insurance company in the event of an insurance claim. Additionally, the SLF holds an archive of competition entries to all SLF competitions. This may include details of the photographer's name, distinctions and club. 1. The SLF may publish images detailing photographer's name, distinctions and club on the Federation's website. 2. The results of SLF competitions may be circulated to Member Clubs.
